On and off-road commercial and public fleets are composed of vehicles that are managed by common ownership. This means all the vehicles in the fleet typically registered in the organization’s name. The vehicles are also insured as a fleet. These fleets are used in support of organizational or business operations and activities.
On-road commercial and public fleets may include (but are not limited to): light, medium or heavy-duty vehicles, trucks, box trucks vans, buses, taxies, last-mile delivery vehicles, or municipal utility vehicles.
Off-road commercial and public fleets may include (but are not limited to): All-terrain vehicles (ATVs), off-highway motorcycles, Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs or side-by-side vehicles), snowmobiles, and four-wheel-drive vehicles (such as jeeps and trucks).
